INTRODUCING THE FOUNDER

Sara Dial is a journalist, content strategist, and creative storyteller with a love for the ways creativity can transform an experience.

A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in journalism, Sara spent two and a half years working under Vogue editor and Over The Moon founder Alexandra Macon, covering weddings, fashion, design, and celebrations. Her work has since taken her to Esses, a Formula One-centered lifestyle publication, and various Modern Luxury titles. Today, she works in marketing and storytelling at Ourisman Travel, where she's surrounded by the people, places, and ideas shaping luxury hospitality.

She's always been fascinated by what makes an experience stick with you, whether it's a clever design detail, an unexpected creative concept, or a place that makes you feel something. Even more interesting to her are the people who dream these things up and bring them to life.

That curiosity led to SCCOWTE, an independent editorial platform celebrating creative work across hospitality, design, dining, and experiences.

Built around the idea of substance without the formality, SCCOWTE goes beyond beautiful spaces and finished products to share the stories behind them. Through short, thoughtful interviews and visually engaging storytelling, Sara hopes to make interesting creative perspectives accessible, enjoyable, and worth a closer look.

At its heart, SCCOWTE is about celebrating great ideas and giving the people behind memorable experiences a chance to tell their stories.
